I want to end all presence on lj and will probably do the following, barring the sudden appearance of a really good reason not to:

On August 9, 2017 I will import tolkien100 to DW, into a community of the same name that I created in 2009. This gives everyone a month to decide whether they want to delete their posts from the community before the import. You can read about how importing works and what happens to imported posts here, if you are unfamiliar with the process.

After the import, I can go one of two ways. Does anyone want to take over ownership of tolkien100? If so, I'll delete my posts and hand it over, assuming you know how I can do that. If not, I will delete the community when I delete my journal. Let me know!

Thank you! Glad to be able to help. It might even get me writing for Tolkien stuff again! Just let me know when it's done and we'll take it from there.

The import is in process. When it's complete, I may go into the comm here and delete my entries. There aren't THAT many. When that's done, or I decide not to, I'll transfer the comm to you to do with as you wish! I hope it will all be done by the end of the weekend. Thanks!

I dunno if you got a notification but I transferred the comm to you. I did not delete my drabbles on the grounds that it wouldn't be fair to the folks who'd commented way back when. More likely sheer cowardice. Anyway, have fun!

I look myself off and still intend to delete my lj one of these days.:) I've got the DW community if I want to do modly stuff, but thank you. I hope you have fun with it!
