Summary : Sam's waiting out the Buckland Sun.

Beneath the bower of a trellis, one could find Sam Gamgee waiting out the sun under the creeping wisteria. Summering in Buckland with his dearest Frodo was a sweetness, but lor' the sunlight was fit to cook him through this year. He'd never felt such a heat; for the air was thick as the jam he'd put on his scone that morning.

"Sunning, my Sam?" A dear voice asked, Frodo having appeared by his side. "Buckland isn't so terrible, is it dear?" His eyelashes fluttered. How could he be so lovely, even in this heat?

"Not with you here, love."
