Disclaimer: Not mine but Tolkien wrote them in such a way that I must borrow. Tribute to Bernard Hill as King Theoden...sorry for the late tribute

After the funeral, heavy rain kept pouring in Rohan. It seemed that the sky too, was mourning the loss of King Theoden.

Eowyn kept thinking about the good times with her uncle and all the caring ways in which Theoden had raised her and Eomer.

“I would have you smile again not grieve for those whose time had come.”**

She remembered his words, but she could not feel solace.  Tears kept pouring from her eyes. Theoden was like a father to her.

Then, she felt someone by her side. It was Faramir.  His eyes were gentle, understanding. All he did was hold her at the moment.

And she was grateful for that sweet embrace.

**From movie RotK, word count does not include the quote.
