A/N- i have a ficlet version, double drabble version and now a drabble (100) word version. I guess i like this topic very much. :P
Dark dreams had invaded his conscience before Faramir was drawn back to the living by the King. Only rest was demanded for him.
“Rest, regain your strength..”
Faramir had no choice but to heed the healers’ orders. He was close to death and wondered by what grace of the Valar had he been rescued.
You are the Steward of Gondor now.
Sorrow filled his heart. Still, the overwhelming duty to recover won out against reminiscing. There would be a time to mourn further. Faramir wondered if the fortunes for the West could lead to a chance for a hopeful spring.
