The waters whispered to us always and we knew their voice, for Oromë taught us of Valar and Maiar. Ulmo speaks of sparkling streams, broad rivers and clear lakes, but also of things we do not understand. Water seeking water so great one might not walk round it, and beyond a land of unimaginable beauty. But what land could be more beautiful than this?
Ulmo has spoken seldom while Morgoth’s smokes creep down our northern skies. But now he summons us under a bright new star. Angband cannot stand against the house of Denethor and the host of the West!
