It is quiet now, the long sigh of the wind through the ruined dyke is all I can hear, standing on the causeway, looking down at the wreckage.
Victory is won. Sarumans power is broken here. Of the might of Rohan; to the servants of Saruman they took their fight and tore them asunder as none of their forebears before them. Here is a proud people, a people who will hold their heads high after this day,
From here, to the Dwimorberg. To regroup; for the battle of Helms Deep is done. Middle Earth is still to be fought for.
