I remember, Boromir.

I remember all the conversations: the advice that you gave to your younger brother; reassuring him that his father still loved him; helping him become the Captain he would one day be.

I remember when you came home angry after your latest confrontation with Father – defending me once again. I remember when you bandaged my wounds when I came home after my first fight and held me as I cried.

And one more conversation: telling me what a perfect woman would be like. You never found her while you lived, but I have.

I’ve found her, Boromir. Her name is Eowyn.
