mrkinch needed a conclusion. Here it is... of sorts.
THE TREE THAT WAS FOUND
“I almost forgot,” Frodo said as they ambled along. “Aragorn asked me to give this to you.”
He handed Bilbo a parchment, crumpled and worn. No seal held it shut. With shaking fingers, Bilbo opened it.
What tree was with sea and with dark shadows bound,
And what tree made the moonlight of old;
What’s the tree that was lost, and the tree that was found,
And the tree not undone by the cold?
“Ridiculous lad!” he laughed. “I should like to be there now, to answer him. ‘Not undone by the cold,’ indeed!... I remember my own poetry well enough!”

As with the others, there are answers. I don't really plan to write anything beyond this, so if you would like to make a guess and then see, the answers are in this post in my LJ.
