Spoilers : Very minor, for the end of ROTK, I guess.
Summary : A short cross-cultural discussion on the subject of hygiene and house-keeping.
‘No,’ said Celeborn, almost violently, ‘Menegroth did not have a mould problem!’
‘They did not?’ said Ioreth, not much fazed at having apparently upset the noble elvish visitor a little, as she continued to wipe down surfaces with a mild solution of vinegar. ‘It just struck me that living in a cave system like that, there might be some issues of dampness and ventilation. But I guess elvish magic would take care of all that, yes?’
She stretched a little and smiled sunnily at him, rag in hand. He just could not be annoyed with her.
‘I suppose it did.’
