That morning, the Man-in-the-Moon told Roverandom it was time for him to go over to the other side of the moon for a visit. Getting there was not pleasant at all for the little dog—it was a long dark drop and a long flight on his wings—but once he was there, he liked it very much.
Roverandom had more fun playing with little boy Two than he ever had before with human games. (The old woman he lived with was not so spry and active anymore, and she did not care for romping through mud-puddles or chasing moon-rabbits.)
