Challenge - Summer Storms

First and foremost, huge appologies to you all, and in particular my co-mod liadtbunny for keeping the comm going when I disappeared again without warning of explanation. In a nutshell, on top of my own health woes I have spent two years caring for my closest friend who died at the beginning of June and as that situation escalated, I had little/no time or mental capacity for anything beyond that. I am now trying to return to the life - including fandom life - I previously enjoyed.

Secondly, This fortnight's prompt is Summer Storms.

I'm still alive, which is definitely a bonus! And I'll hopefully stay that way a while longer.
