Pippin looked down at his sleeping cousin as a sudden whimsy filled him. He picked several nearby daisies and very carefully placed each flower into the yellow curls on Merry's head, making him a kind of crown. His smile broadened into a cheeky grin as he very carefully slid a stem first into one ear, then the other. He nearly giggled and gave the game away when he successfully added a decoration to each of his cousin's nostrils.

He managed to get three stems into his mouth before Merry woke up abruptly, coughing blossoms and batting at his budding nose.

In fact, tolkien100 was begun while lotr100 still existed, as a complimentary, non-challenge Tolkien drabble community. aesc and I wanted a place for drabbles that didn't fit at lotr100. It was a terrible shock when it vanished, and an lot of drabbles vanished with it, but fortunately tolkien_weekly was created to fill the need for challenges.

Yeah, I lost three drabbles there that I hadn't saved anywhere else. :/ Managed to recreate two of them. Lots of wonderful drabbles, just gone. *sigh*
