Author Notes: It's been awhile. I wrote this for
mrkinch's birthday earlier this week.
The hair, slightly wavy, reached towards broad shoulders encased in leather armour. It was the same shade of blond on a head held defiantly high in the dimness of the great hall. The mere sight of this man gave him pause, made his steps want to falter, his heart to skip a beat. The familiar warred with logic for the merest moment before the man shifted around to face the door he had just burst through.
Features hauntingly similar were not the same and reason reasserted itself. This man wasn't the ghost he thought he saw. He was not Boromir.
